Philip is our most senior executive. His knowledge and experience are invaluable to IPC. He has been active in the print communications field for over 56 years. Most of that time was spent in leadership positions both in the industry and the community. He served as the executive vice president for Mendle Press, St. Louis, executive vice president of Universal Printing and the owner and president of PAI Printing. He is a past president of the Printing Industries of Saint Louis [PISTL], St. Louis Jewish Light Newspaper and past board member of the Direct Marketing Club of St. Louis. In 2004, PAI merged with IPC Graphics and Philip brought his talent and extensive experience to our team.
His tireless work with local charities and service organizations is legendary. As a 50 year member of the St. Louis Masonic Lodge #1, he has served the Scottish Rite and Moolah Shrine Center, the St. Louis Mental Health Association, Miriam School, Backstoppers and many more. He understands the communication needs of large organizations and how to meet those needs professionally and economically.
“Although technology has changed the way we print, the reasons why we print and the results we expect from printing hasn’t really changed at all. That’s the value of experience in this field. A well designed printed piece will be effective if it’s printed on a hand press, a web press or the latest digital press, but it won’t be really useful if it’s poorly put together, arrives late or costs too much. The basics don’t change, even if the techniques do.”
